TITO IN ENGLAND AND CARRIER BLAST AT SEA The Yugoslav Tito dictator receives a royal welcome from Prince Philip, Prime Minister Churchill and Foreign Minister Anthony Eden as he arrives for a week's visit. Two are killed and fifteen injured as a bomb from a landing fighter explodes on the flight deck of the carrier Oriskany. One of the dead was the cameraman who made the pictures.
RUSSIA APOLOGIZES TO MARSHAL TITO - 1955 Seeking to end the 7-year rift between Yugoslavia and Russia's Communist bloc, Nikita Khrushchev and Nikolai Bulganin visit Marshal Tito in Belgrade to apoligize for wrongdoings by Stalin's administration. Tito remains unmoved.
