CHARLES & ANNE LINDBERGH LAND A huge crowd turns out to watch Charles Lindbergh and his wife Anne land their seaplane at New York's Flushing Bay after flying around the world.
CANADIAN MILITARY RETURN HOME FROM OPERATIONS Canadian military service men and women return home from over seas operations. Massive gray canadian military warplanes move slowly across a runway in Greenwood Nova Scotia. MWS Flight pilots can be seen through the cockpit window of one of the airplanes. Canadian military service men and women exit airplane onto the runway. Uniformed officers are met by family and friends on the airport tarmac. Small children wave. Service men and women stand at attention inside airplane hanger. Canadian Chief of Defense staff, R.R. Henault addresses the troops. Soldiers reunite with families after a long absence. Husbands and wives kiss and hug their children. A large military plane with huge propellers on either side of the plane is signalled into the hanger.

Lindbergh, wearing a bulky flight suit, shakes hands with a military officer. A crewman primes the propeller. The officer holds the cockpit door as Lindbergh enters the airplane. The ground crew pushes the plane down the field then stops and watches as it takes off into the skies.
CANADA DAY CELEBRATIONS Canadian Air Force parachute group the Skyhawks jump from plane displaying the Canadian flag in Canada Day celebrations. They paint the sky with red and white smoke as they drop to the ground in a display of nationalism and patriotism.
