RUSSIAN SUBMARINE RESCUE - 1 On August 5, 2005 a Russian mini submarine became entangled with underwater cables off the coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula, in Berezovaya Bay. The submarine then sank to the seafloor.
On August 7, all seven sailors were rescued after the cables snaring their submarine were cut by a British remotely operated vehicle (ROV). The Russian sailors are shown disembarking and being greeted by the media.
