DODGERS WIN WORLD SERIES The Dodgers take the Yankees in four straight games. In the third game Junior Gilliam is brought home by Tommy Davis for the only score of the game and Don Drysdale goes on to silence the mighty Yankee bats. In the final game Frank Howard homers to put the Dodgers ahead and Mickey Mantle comes back to tie it up with another home run. Then, Gilliam reaches third on an error and is brought home with a sacrifice fly to center by Willy Davis. Then Sandy Koufax, hero of the first game, makes matchsticks out of the mighty Yankee bats. The Dodger team celebrates in the locker room.
TAIPEI 101 IN TAIWAN The world's largest skyscraper in Taiwan, known as Taipei 101, will be completed in 2004. It will stand 508 meters tall and house the world's fastest elevator. Construction continues on the structure.

A convoy of tanks travels down a road, Russian military commanders confer, shells are fired from many mortar guns, armed Cossacks gallop down a road, shells explode rural and urban targets, soldiers fire automatic machine guns, buildings are leveled to rubble, a soldier running through the street is killed by a sniper, a machine gunner kills a sniper perched in a window, roads are littered with the corpses of Nazi soldiers, one corpse has a dagger sticking out of its chest.
AMERICANS IN THE GREAT WAR American World War I soldiers in Europe including them marching, cavalry, the King and Queen of Belgium reviewing the troops, crossing a temporary bridge and marching in front of bombed out buildings.
