The Soviet Kashin Class Frigate 561 and the Kotlin Class Destroyer are seen firing, respectively, Goa surface-to-air missiles and surface-to-surface missiles off their decks at sea. Indians march on Goa, the Portuguese enclave on Indian soil, dropping to the ground in a demonstration of passive resistance when fired upon as they demand cession of the colony to India. Twenty-two are killed in the protest by border guards.
