POST WW1 GERMANY Flanked on either side by large crowds of spectators, uniformed soldiers march on a city street behind a German flag. Adolph Hitler, in civilian dress, and two other men look down from a window.
CHAMBERLAIN MEETS HITLER British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain exits a British Airways plane and is greeted by dignitaries. A car arrives, its doors opened by two Nazi soldiers; Nazi soldiers stand at attention guarding a long outdoor staircase; Chamberlain, French Prime Minister Edouard Daladier, Hitler and others ascend the stairs. Entering a large room, they confer with high German officials. Chamberlain, Daladier, Mussolini and Hitler are seen signing a document (the dismemberment of Czechoslovakia). Chamberlain and Lord Halifax exit a British Airways airplane.
ROME-BERLIN AXIS The Rome-Berlin Axis and the Anti-Comintern Pact: Adolph Hitler enters an ornate room full of uniformed men, shakes hands with Italian foreign minister Galeazzo Ciano, turns and raises his arm in the Nazi Salute. The other men in the room return this salute; uniformed men wearing the SS insignia observe an event; Hitler and a uniformed officer Galeazzo Ciano sit at a table solemnly examining papers before them.
DURING THE NORMANDY INVASION Various shots before and during the D-Day invasion at Normandy include rows of tanks and planes prior to battle, General Eisenhower pointing to area on map for other officers, a New York Post headline about the invasion, a soldier going down moments after hitting the beach, German soldiers surrendering with hands raised, soldiers marching past a corpse on the road, closeup of Hitler sitting among other Nazis.
GERMAN REICHSTAG A well attended session of the German Reichstag as Adolph Hitler speaks from a podium, and uniformed Nazis respond by standing and raising their arms in the Nazi salute.
