ATTACK AT PEARL HARBOR On December 7, 1941, bombers take off from Japanese aircraft carriers at sea bound for Pearl Harbor; explosions take place; bombs are seen dropping towards earth; aerial views of Pearl Harbor airport and parked airplanes; explosions at airport, and in the water; missile released from submarine travels under water; massive explosions occur; US sailors man anti-aircraft guns and artillery; massive damage.
SOVIET TRAINING BATTLE A Soviet military training operation concludes. Armed soldiers run shooting their weapons amongst advancing tanks, jets and rocket fire streak across the sky, explosions are seen as tank carcasses burn on the battlefield.
SOVIET TANKS UNDERWATER Amphibious Soviet vehicles cross a river on their own as non-amphibious vehicles are taken across the river aboard a ferrying device and a howitzer shell explodes in the water. Tanks outfitted with snorkels, some towing howitzers, cross the deep river. Interior shot of tank shows driver, and underwater footage shows tanks driving across the river bottom. Combat-ready tanks emerge out of river.
FIGHTING THE GREAT WAR From World War I battles during 1918 in France, a variety of shots including bombs exploding and troops moving. There is a nice shot of troops walking in the forest and one of an injured soldier on a stretcher being carried.
