MODEL OF SPACE SHUTTLE CHALLENGER - 1986 CU of a model of the space shuttle Challengera and an engineer's hand pointing to the struts holding the shuttle and rocket together then pull back to a wider view of the model itself. The shuttle blew apart moments after its launch on January 28th, 1986 killing everyone onboard.

PREPARING THE NEVADA TEST SITE FOR 1955 ATOMIC BLAST EXPERIMENT - 1 Official observers arrive the day before "Operation Cue" takes place at the Nevada Test Site to test the effects of a nuclear blast. A televised interview is held with Dr. Alvin Graves, scientific advisor for bomb-testing then cut to a model of an electric substation being used in the experiment.
