F.D.R. OPENS N.Y. WORLD'S FAIR The opening of the New York World's Fair, "The World Of Tomorrow". A spectacular pageant of color and engineering skill is jammed with excited sightseers. President Roosevelt dedicates the exhibit calling for good will and world peace. It opens on the anniversary of George Washington's inauguration and features a large statue of the first President. The pictures at night are spectacular.
