THE EMPEROR OF ETHIOPIA GOES INTO EXILE - 1936 Emperor of Ethiopia Haile Selassie I and the royal family and close friends seek sanctuary from the British with the defeat of Ethiopia to Italian troops. The royal party disembark from a British ship in Palestine then board a train. The Emperor would spend the next five years in exile returning to Ethiopia in 1941 only after Italy's defeat by United Kingdom and Ethiopian patriot forces.

ETHIOPIAN SOLDIERS PREPARES FOR WAR - 1936 Following an Italian invasion led by Benito Mussolini the citizens of Ethiopia prepare to fight back. Young men cheer and hold up guns and begin practicing manuevers to fight for their country. GERMAN AMBASSADOR JOACHIM VON RIBBENTROP ARRIVES IN LONDON - 1936 The new German Ambassador Herr Von Ribbentrop arrives at the London Embassy where he politely greets the media. Tropp arrives in London. In August 1936 the Nazi government appointed Ribbentrop Ambassador to Britain with orders to negotiate the Anglo-German alliance. Needless to say Herr Ribbentropp didn't succeed.
