The National War Memorial stands in Confederation Square in downtown Ottawa with the Parliament building behind it. The dates 1950-1952 are on one side and 1914-1918 are on the front with a sculpture of soldiers and calvary horses above it. Bronze statues symbolizing Peace and Freedom are on top of the arch. |
