At the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston surgeons perform a cancer operation and take a sample of the diseased tissue so the effects of radiation from atomic power can be studied on cancer cells. Cut to the research institute adjacent to the hospital where a technician takes the tissue sample and places it in a special solution to preserve it then places it in storage for future research.
