Description:
In New York City the military tries out new aircraft searchlights powered by a multiple reflector invented by Colonel A.M. Jackson. Even tall skyscrapers such as the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings are lit up like day by the lights that can reach up to two miles in the sky allowing enemy aircraft to be spotted and shot down at night.
