The traditional carpet of flowers is laid down on the street of Via Livia in Genzano di Roma, Italy during the celebration of the feast of Corpus Christi. Incredibly intricate designs are created using flower petals in the town's famous flower fair (Infiorata).

 ARMY AIR CORPS TEST FLYING FORTRESS
The Army Air Corps at Langley Field, Virginia take their new Boeing bomber out for a test flight. The enormous machine is dubbed the "Flying Fortress" because it's powered with four 850 horse power motors.
