WORLD'S FIRST CLONED DOG The world’s first cloned dog, an Afghan puppy named Snuppy (short for Seoul National University puppy) plays with spectators and nestles in the arms of his creator scientist Woo Suk Hwang. Scandal erupted in 2006 when a Seoul National University panel concluded that with the exception of Snuppy all the major scientific discoveries in stem cell research claimed by Dr. Hwang were faked.
