IKE IN TUNISIA AND PARIS President Dwight D. Eisenhower's historic peace mission carries him to Tunisia, the most pro-Western of the Arab nations and the smallest stop on his entire tour. President Bourguiba presents an Arab steed and a cheering populace hails Ike. He travels by sea on the U.S.S Des Moines to the French shores where an enthusiastic reception in Toulon greets him. But in Paris, the character of Ike's mission is altered as he confers in momentous pre-summit talks with Charles De Gaulle, Adenauer and Macmillan that result in an invitation to Nikita Khrushchev for summit meetings in the Big Four capitals. BEN-GURION VISITS CANADA Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion of Israel is met by Prime Minister John Diefenbaker of Canada at Ottawa Airport. Arabs protest the visit. Ben-Gurion lays a wreath on the war memorial.
FLOODS IN ADEN Already rocked by civil war and political unrest, the British Protectorate of Aden is also inundated with destructive flooding. Residents walk barefoot through the watery streets as British soldiers push stuck cars and maintain order.

KOSYGIN AND ARAB ISRAELI CONFLICT Soviet Premier Aleksei Kosygin arrives in New York and speaks to the United Nations GeneralrnAssembly about the Arab-Israeli conflict, dimming the hopes for an early peace in the region. He meets with President Lyndon Johnson of the campus of Glassboro State University for the Glassboro Summit.
