THE OLD WEAVER'S HOUSE - CANTERBURY, ENGLAND WS of the busy street with shops and restaurants surrounding the famous Canterbury landmark "The Old Weaver's House." The house is a tudor-style building of black and white wood built in 1507. It takes its name from the Flemish and Hugenot Weavers who fled from France to escape religous persecution in the 16th and 17th centuries.
