HAROLD ADAMSON & EDDIE CANTOR A chintzy replica of a hot air balloon floats past a globe, followed by sheet music for the song Around The World In 80 Days to introduce it's lyricist, Harold Adamson, seated at a piano. Adamson talks about the March of Dimes and introduces a montage of still photographs of Eddie Cantor which accompany a recording of Cantor talking about how he invented the March of Dimes. Following the Cantor montage, Adamson reveals that he was stricken with polio as a child.

JOHNNY MERCER SINGS Following a shot of a 78 rpm recording of Accentuate The Positive, spinning on a Victrola, lyricist Johnny Mercer sings the tune seated at a piano, takes a break to praise the March of Dimes, then finishes the song.
