"FAGS FOR FIGHTING FORCES" WAR PROCLAMATION
A proclamation promoting Canada's WWII "Fags For Fighting Forces" war effort which sent "fags" (cigarettes) to Canadian soldiers fighting around the world. Shot begins with the Canadian crest and dissolves onto a parchment paper proclamation (which scrolls upward) announcing the "unsung labors of the Canadian Postal Corps...to direct that flow of Fags for Fighting Forces....so essentially needed for the boys over there." Triumphant fanfare music plays in the background. Obviously there is immense comedic potential for this shot.
