STREET BATTLE IN VIETNAM A jeep carrying North Vietnamese soldiers, followed by enters a small town. Shooting is heard. Soldiers, wear caps, rather than helmets. All are armed with rifles. Two civilians shoot from behind a tree. A man runs across the street. A small prop-driven plane flies above. Two civilians hide behind a cement post. Soldiers and civilians are seen running. Soldiers round up civilians, herding them to a central location.
NORTH VIETNAMESE OCCUPY HUE In the aftermath of an attack on the city of Hue, North Vietnamese troops move to occupy the city. Troops are massed in the town square, while others man truck-mounted anti-aircraft guns. They are protected by sandbags stacked around the trucks. Masses of civilian refugees are seen fleeing the city. A downed American helicopter sits in the middle of the city. There is a gathering around the bodies of the crew. Everywhere there is chaotic running to escape the violence.
TANZANIAN AIR GROUP REVIEWED The country of Tanzania maintains a small air force as a component of its military forces. A caucasian man inspects members of the Air Group. He is accompanied by three African men. The Westerner speaks to the now seated Air Group. A Twin-Engine plane flies overhead, and then lands.
ALLEGED GUNMAN ARRESTED After apprehension, William Kilgore, an alleged Dallas, Texas killer, is interviewed. Also interviewed is a man (Mr. Baker) who states that he believes the suspect is a victim of community emotionalism. Following the interview the man enters the Dallas County Court House. His entrance is followed by two other men carrying large metal boxes.

BRITISH SHIPPING STRIKE For the first time in 55 years, Britain's seamen went out on strike. At least 500 ships and 12,000 of Britain's 65,000 seamen were idled, and the strike had severe effects on Britain's economy. Empty, unloaded ships are shown. Containers are stacked next to ships on empty docks. A (Daily Mirror) newspaper is seen headlined “CALLING SEAMEN.” A man is standing on an elevated platform, talking to a large group of men. He is well dressed wearing a tan or white trench coat, with a dark turtleneck sweater underneath it. He wears glasses. In his right hand are papers and a folder for them. His left hand holds a microphone. His listeners are all men. All are dressed in better clothes than if they were going to work. There is a distribution of younger and older men.

CALTEX OIL REFINERY FIRE IN GERMANY - 1966 Black smoke pours into the sky from a fire caused by an explosion at a Caltex oil refinery in Frankfurt, Germany. Fireman battle the blaze with water hoses protecting nearby propane and hydrogen tanks from flames before bringing the blaze under control three hours after the blast.

OVERTURNED OFFICERS CAR SET ON FIRE - 1966 Following two army officers shooting a woman married an angry crowd of people find the officers car and set it on fire after tipping it on its side. A fireman stands nearby with a hose to keep the flames spreading as the vehicle burns in the night.
