RIOTS AT INCHON PORT - 1 - 1955 The continuing clash between U.S. troops and an angry mob of Koreans protesting against Communist Czech and Polish members of a truce inspection commission continues. Even though the U.S. agrees the commission are little more than communist spies they uphold truce terms and use tear gas to quell the mob.

World leaders meet on issues including Czechoslovakia's guns for cotton deal with Egypt, progress on German reunification and other hot topics, most of which are not resolved.
CHINA & U.S. CONFERENCE IN GENEVA - 1955 For the first time, the U.S. and Red China envoys meet face-to-face in an attempt to ease Far East tension at Geneva. U. Alexis Johnson heads the American delegation and Ambassador to Poland Wang Ping-Nan the Reds. Wang, after announcing the liberation of 11 American fliers opens the parley on a conciliatory note via a translator.

ELEVEN AIRMEN FREED BY CHINA - 1955 Eleven airmen held captive in Communist China are finally freed and walk across a bridge to the liberty of free Hong Kong. At the Jockey Club they clean up and enjoy simple pleasure such as soft drinks, which they were denied while in brutal captivity. The men will soon fly home to their loved ones.
