PARKER DEFEATS ARTHUR FOR CANADIAN CROWN - 1956 At Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens, James J. Parker in the dark trunks tangles with Johnny Arthur for the Canadian version of the British Empire Heavyweight Crown. The fighters go twelve rounds before Parker is declared the winner.
