LYTTON COMMISSION ARRIVES IN MANCHURIA - 1932 The League of Nations sends a commission headed by Earl Victor Bulwer-Lytton to Manchuria to investigate Japanís invasion of the Chinese region. Representatives from Great Britain, America, France, Germany and Italy are greeted at the train station by Japanese officers. The commission will later anger the Japanese by finding against Japan in the Far East conflict.
GENEVA CONFERENCE 1954 The Geneva Conference of 1954 held in the old League of Nations building in Geneva, Switzerland settled the First Indochina War between France and Indochina. Dignitaries from Red China, Russia, England and America came to negotiate the peace treaty. French Premier Pierre Mondes-France signing the treat.

THE EMPEROR OF ETHIOPIA GOES INTO EXILE - 1936 Emperor of Ethiopia Haile Selassie I and the royal family and close friends seek sanctuary from the British with the defeat of Ethiopia to Italian troops. The royal party disembark from a British ship in Palestine then board a train. The Emperor would spend the next five years in exile returning to Ethiopia in 1941 only after Italy's defeat by United Kingdom and Ethiopian patriot forces.
COMMITTEE MEN The House Foreign Relations committee, debating Woodrow Wilson\'s push to join the League of Nations. The men, in business attire, some smoking, are seated around a table in a library with papers spread before them. Henry Cabot Lodge sits at the head of the table.
