MOLLISONS CRASH DURING FLIGHT Aviation pioneers Jim and Amy (Johnson) Mollison take off in their plane "Seafarer" for a new around the world flight record but crash in Connecticut. The plane lies upside in a tangled mess while Jim and Amy recuperate from their injuries.
WILEY POST GIVEN N.Y. TICKER TAPE PARADE Wiley Post is greeted by 50,000 people in Floyd Bennett airfield following his successful eight-day round-the-world solo flight. Later the pioneer aviator is given a New York ticker tape for his accomplishment.
NEW RECORD SET FOR UPSIDE-DOWN FLIGHT Italian army flying ace Lieutenant Tito Falconi sets a new record for flying upside down from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara, CA and back in a little over two hours. Afterwards the ace enjoys a cigarette and his accomplishment.
