LOADING A-BOMB ABOARD ENOLA GAY The bomb to be dropped on Hiroshima (nicknamed Little Boy) is wheeled out of a building, hoisted aboard a wheeled cradle using block and tackle, and transported to a bomb pit. The Enola Gay is backed over the pit and the bomb is raised on a platform into the bomb bay. 1
