ATTEMPT AT NEW MOTORCYCLE SPEED RECORD Pasadena motorcycle policeman Fred Ludlow attempts to set a new motorcycle speed record with his totally enclosed bike dubbed "Arrow" on the Bonneville, Utah salt flats. In spite of several attempts the high speeds are simply too much for the futuristic-looking bike and Fred fails.

SIR MALCOLM CAMPBELL SETS NEW SPEED RECORD Sir Malcolm Campbell sets a new speed record of 301 m.p.h. driving his Bluebird race car across Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats. Observer POV from a platform or low-flying plane as Sir Malcolm and his Bluebird thunder past then cut to the smoking flat tire that nearly jinxed the whole deal.
CAPTAIN EYSTON REGAINS SPEED RECORD CROWN British speed racer Captain Eyston recaptures his crown by beating John Cobb's land speed record of 357 m.p.h. with a new record of 357 m.p.h. The revamped Thunderbolt seems to soar over the sand seen partially by pilot POV from the air.

AB JENKINS RACES DUSENBERG SPEEDSTER - 2 While Ab Jenkins races his Dusenberg "Mormon Meteor" speedster on Utah's salt flats, his vehicle catches fire. His wounds are treated.
