MAHMOUD WINS THE 1936 EPSOM DERBY A thoroughbred named Mahmoud streaks past the other horses and wins the 1936 Epsom Derby. The crowds all strain to get a look at the winning horse and his proud master Sir Sultan Mahommed Shah, The Aga Khan III proudly strides by his prize winner while a very tired Charlie Smirke continues to ride Mahmoud after the race to cool him down.
