MEYERS WINS THE HILL-CLIMB CLASSIC Chuck Meyers wins the hill-climb classic in Pikes Peak, Colorado in record time. The Penrose Trophy is awarded after a break-neck performance up the hair-pin turns of the world's highest and most dangerous road. Meyers sets a new record completing the ascent in 17 minutes.

PEARL WHITE SERIAL Post-Perils of Pauline Pearl White steals a horse containing an unconscious man and is pursued by another villain on horseback. Unable to climb a hill, she attacks her pursuer. They wrestle and exchange punches before he knocks her down a steep incline and leaves with both horses and the unconscious man. Nice title card at end.
