 UGANDA DEVASTATED BY AIDS EPIDEMIC - 1986
Montage of AIDS epidemic on Uganda. No one is spared as babies, children, men and women waste away from the disease. A young man states, "Many people are going to die and within two years I think the area is going to be a desert as far as I can see." A young woman's eyes are filled with despair as she holds her dying baby. Villagers bury their dead and health workers desperately try and stop the tide by instructing villagers on healthcare and administering to the sick.
