SOVIET TANKS UNDERWATER Amphibious Soviet vehicles cross a river on their own as non-amphibious vehicles are taken across the river aboard a ferrying device and a howitzer shell explodes in the water. Tanks outfitted with snorkels, some towing howitzers, cross the deep river. Interior shot of tank shows driver, and underwater footage shows tanks driving across the river bottom. Combat-ready tanks emerge out of river.
TEMPORARY SOVIET BRIDGES Non-amphibious Soviet armored vehicles cross a river in long convoys using temporary bridges upon which uniformed soldiers are posted. A battle continues as the vehicles cross, jets fly across the sky, shells explode and plumes of smoke rise in the air.
TANKS CROSSING A RIVER Soviet fighter jets in the sky; tanks and armored personnel carrier convoys cross a river; helmeted soldiers fire rifles from tank gun turrets; infantry assault forces cross the river in vehicles and disembark on the other side. The following vehicles are seen: T-54, T-55 tanks, a BRDM armored amphibious scout vehicle, a PT-76 light amphibious tank, and BTR-60P armored personnel carriers.
AMPHICAR Owners of Amphicars, amphibious vehicles designed to float in water, take their restored vintage oddity vehicles out into the lake for showcasing. The vehicles were originally built in the 60's but lack of sales took them off the market. They were then sold to Pepsi employees at cost.
