PLANE LAUNCHED FROM CARRIER On the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, sailors prepare a catapult to launch an A-6 bomber. Below decks, an officer adjusts the steam pressure needed. The launch crew guides the plane to its launch point, and then hooks it to the catapult. The pilot is signaled to bring engines to takeoff power, and the catapult is triggered. The plane is successfully launched.
