U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY - 1955 The Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado is the temporary home of the U.S. Air Force Academy until the new academy being built in Colorado Springs is completed. Architect models of the new academy are displayed, then cut to the graduation ceremonies of the cadets.
