PLANES, RADIOS, AND WEATHER BALLOONS An early commercial airliner crew communicates with ground control using vintage radio equipment. Pan down a radio tower to reveal a man releaseing a weather balloon. Pilot and co-pilot peruse a "Pilot's Weather Report"
STOCK EXCHANGE TRADING Two men in offices communicate by telephone, one makes a notation on a piece of paper, and gets up from his desk; men in shirtsleeves stand at a desk and place orders which they hand to men seated behind the desk; a hand operates a transmitting telegraph, a receiving telegraph is seen; men seated at a table with telephones and a conveyer belt in the center write on paper, then place papers on the conveyer belt. A man picks up the slips from the belt; Boards in the trading room are seen, a man changes information and numbers light up on the upper panel.
