Crowds gather about the racetrack, a truck advertising Royal Ediswan Lamps waits for horse-drawn carriages to pass carrying feed and supplies for the race and the scoreboard is ready.
MAHMOUD WINS THE 1936 EPSOM DERBY A thoroughbred named Mahmoud streaks past the other horses and wins the 1936 Epsom Derby. The crowds all strain to get a look at the winning horse and his proud master Sir Sultan Mahommed Shah, The Aga Khan III proudly strides by his prize winner while a very tired Charlie Smirke continues to ride Mahmoud after the race to cool him down.
"HORSE NIGHT" AT THE DRIVE-IN "Horse night" at the drive-in. An Enterprising theater manager sets up oats and rye on the rocks and invites the equine crowd in for a special showing of Universal-International's short subject, "Stallions On Parade."
