CUBAN EXILES DEMONSTRATE IN WASHINGTON 8,000 Cuban exiles stage a march from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial to urge the U.S. to act against the Castro Regime in Cuba. At first the demonstration is peaceful but as the last delegates arrives for a meeting of the Organization of American States the crowd advances on the Pan-American building and the police have their hands full.
