WACKY FLYING MACHINES A compilation of crazy vintage flying machines, most of which don't fly. The contraptions include something that looks like a washing machine, a flying plate, a barrel with a propeller, a bird suit, a gas powered pumping umbrella, and a very heavy paddle plane on a ramp. A man on a bicycle fitted with wings and a jet pack crashes and sets his pants on fire. An assistant heroically pours a bucket of water on him. Another man, wearing a very heavy set of wings, jumps off of a rock and lands flat on his face. Great comedic vintage footage.
A VINTAGE, MANNED KITE GLIDER Vintage scenes of an early flight pioneer flying a manned glider. A crew carries the multi-winged craft onto a field. The glider lifts into the air only to come crashing down into a hillside. The unhurt, dashing young pilot walks toward the camera, passing his crumpled craft.
