NATION PAYS LAST RESPECTS TO RAYBURN President Kennedy, along with former Presidents Eisenhower and Truman, lead the nation in paying tribute to House Speaker Sam Rayburn as he is buried in his home town of Bonham, Texas. The humble are there, too, as the beloved statesman is laid to rest in the family plot.
NATION MOURNS RAYBURN'S PASSING The flag flies at half mast for Samuel Rayburn, Speaker of the House since 1940, who died at the age of 79 in 1961. A Congressman since 1913, the beloved "MR.
