JUAN PERON OUSTED BY REBELLION - 1955 - 2 Juan Peron, once the beloved president of Argentina, falls out of favor with economic upheavals and an attack on the Catholic Church in Buenos Aires. Four months later pictures of Peron are hurled from windows and burned as a national revolt causes Peron to flee into exile.
