CAVALCADE WINS 1934 KENTUCKY DERBY Thousands crowd the Churchill Downs for the 60th Kentucky Derby. While the horses race around the track many in the crowd hold their own race trying to get to the next spot to see the action before Cavalcade and jockey Mack Garner win in a sudden burst of speed. Sports announcer Graham McNamee is on hand to describe the spectacular race.
HORSE RACING Thoroughbred race horse Wando crosses the finish line at Woodbine racetrack to capture Canada's Triple Crown. The horse's jockey stands in his stirrups after his horse captures the title. Owners and trainers hose the horse down in the winners circle after the race.
