MURDER TRIAL BEGINS FOR ROBERT PICKTON The first day of the murder trial for Canadian Robert Pickton begins. Photographs of six of the women murdered are laid over s blue and gold background then cut to scenes of Mr. Pickton's pig farm where evidence of the murdered women were found overlaid with a photograph of Mr. Pickton. The current trial will hear the cases of six women but there are pending charges involving many more.

WILLIE THE FERRET TO BE REUNITED WITH OWNER Willie the Ferret returns home to his 5-year-old owner David Ball following a court battle. Liz White of the Toronto Humane Society carries Willy in a pet holder from the house of his adopted owner Allison Hanson who sits in the back seat of a cab refusing to talk to media. Willy is held by a lawyer briefly then cut to David's mother who is happy to get the ferret back.

WILLIE THE FERRET REUNITED WITH HIS OWNER A lawyer hands Willie the ferret over to his beaming five-year-old owner David. The two are reunited after a court battle in which a humane society worker had taken Willie away. The ferret seems just as happy as the little boy and returns the little boy's kisses enthusiastically.
